Recently, I embarked on a project to create an interactive wall mural for my friend’s lovely kids. A simple graphic in black and white of rolling hills with areas of interaction (interspersed in the form of chalkboard as well as colorful pin-up areas) in which the kids can add their own touch. The theme is neutral enough that it can be embellished with princesses and butterflies or dragons and trucks.
I’m still in the process of fleshing this out and would love to hear your feedback and thoughts!:)

Absolutely brilliant! I love it.
I just desired to comment your we blog and say that I really enjoyed reading through your blog site publish appropriate here. It was really informative and I also digg the way you publish!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! I’m glad it was well received. I saw some of the work you have done and it is so fresh and beautiful.. Love the fact that each work custom fits a space & style. Definitely a fan of your hand painted art.
Love this.
Many thanks Ariane! Glad you liked it:)
Hey.How can one get this mural?
Alpa- Thank you so much for stopping by my blog:) Unfortunately, at the moment I only work on small custom orders and this mural was done for a particular space documented in my blog post.
Oh. Thats a pity. I had already started imagining it in one of my rooms. You think you could transfer your designs on something like wall stickers that are available on sites like http://www.easydecals.com?
Alpa- Sure! I could try to do that for you. However, it wouldn’t hold the same interactive qualities that the wall offers but would function more as a poster/ wall art. If you are still interested, we could look at how we could take this forward.
Hmm – the costs would be too high ?
Hello Alpa, Well, if you could send me an idea of your space and what you have in mind (size and other relevant details) to mydesignery@gmail.com, I could get back to you with specific costs involved.
I love the idea of an interactive mural! I can imagine painting this on the wall of a kindergarten class someday! Can you tell me more about the “Colourful pin-up areas”? What do you mean by “pin-up”?
Thank you for stopping by my blog Emily!:) The pin up areas are zones where kids and adults alike could pin up lists, artworks, calendars and so on..I have created these areas by using magnetic paint and/ or shaped push-pin boards depending on the space involved.
